Experience

Aaron has worked in the habitat restoration business since 2006. In 2007 he took a wetland/habitat restoration specialist position with Olson Environmental. In that role he was responsible for conducting native plant installations, mechanical and chemical control of noxious plants and overall monitoring of wetland and habitat mitigation sites. In 2017 Aaron took over the position as the manager of the restoration and monitoring department of Olson Environmental. The same year Aaron started a stormwater maintenance department that has grown to become one of the biggest stormwater companies in Western Washington. In this role he is responsible for the daytoday operations of Olson Environmental, including supervising eight wetland specialists, stormwater crew, and biologists, contacting both private and public sector clients to set up job contracts and working with OE’s biologist to ensure the property implementation of wetland/habitat mitigation plans.

He is very knowledgeable of Pacific Northwest native plants, wetland, habitat restoration techniques. More recently Aaron has been involved in stormwater management facility maintenance and management for residential and commercial developments in the greater Portland metro area. In this role he works with HOA’s, local, state, and federal regulatory agencies. Aaron also helped start a nonprofit in Vancouver, Washington that teaches bike safety and community leadership to local youth.
